ITBAM was founded by Ms. Yanick Laurent and has been in existence for 25 years Port -Au -Prince . ITBAM survived the earthquake in 2010 and was reopened by Nicole Laurent Kobe in Jeremie, Grand'Anse, Haiti.
She graduated in cosmetology and nail prosthesis specialist . Mrs. Laurent was also owner of a beauty salon and a cosmetics shops in Port -Au- Prince in the 1970s. After retirement, she decided to share her knowledge with young women in the art of beauty care and in the use of cosmetic products.
She added Fashion and Culinary Arts to her repertoire.
In the first year of ITBAM Jeremie, the school graduated serveral students in the Cosmotology and Culinary Arts program. The school has received several students from CAPED organization through the sponsorship program.

ITBAM a été fondée par Mme Yanick Laurent et a été en existence depuis 25 ans
à Port-Au -Prince. ITBAM a survécu le tremblement de terre en 2010
et réouvert a Jérémie par Mme Nicole Laurent Kobe.
Elle a été diplômée en cosmétologie et spécialisée en prothèse ongulaire. Mme Laurent a été également propriétaire d'un salon de beauté et d’un magasin de produits cosmétiques à Port-Au-Prince dans les années 1970. Après sa retraite, elle a décidé de partager ses connaissances avec les jeunes femmes dans l'art des soins de beauté et l'utilisation de produits cosmétiques. Elle a ajouté la Mode et les Arts Culinaires à son répertoire.
